Mr. Gruenberg has resided in Hunterdon County for over 43 years and is a graduate of North Hunterdon High School.  Upon graduation from law school, he served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Edmund R. Bernhard, Judge of the Superior Court in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.   Mr. Gruenberg specializes in civil and chancery litigation as well as the representation of municipal land use boards.    He presently represents five municipal land use boards throughout Hunterdon Somerset and Warren Counties. 


 Mr. Gruenberg is experienced in all aspects of litigation including discovery, jury and bench trials, alternate dispute resolution methods such as mandatory court arbitrations, American Arbitration Association arbitrations, construction arbitrations and court ordered mediation. 


 Mr. Gruenberg handles all types of land use applications including use variance, site plan and subdivision applications and has appeared before various land use boards throughout the State of New Jersey.  He has successfully obtained approvals for various clients including new automobile dealerships, national retailers and restaurants.


Mr. Gruenberg's experience in the agricultural industry make him uniquely suited to the representation of farmers and agriculturalist including business formation, Right to Farm Act and Farmland Preservation matters.

  • Rutgers University - Cook College, New Brunswick, New Jersey.  BS in Agricultural Science, minor in Agricultural Education.  Served as State President of the New Jersey FFA Association and was a candidate for National Office in the National FFA Organization, having achieved the highest degree of American Farmer.


  • Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, Camden, New Jersey.  Received the award for best oral argument in the Moot Court competition
